The cottage is available for a week’s stay (seven nights) or a minimum three night break. Extra nights can be added as required. We have no set changeover day - if the date is available, you can book it! We request that the cottage is vacated by 11am on your last day and it is available to new guests from 2pm on the following day to allow for thorough cleaning and ventilating to prevent any risk of coronavirus transfer. All surfaces are disinfected, crockery, glassware and cutlery put through a hot wash and all linen plus cushion covers and bed headboard cleaned. Although this policy reduces the number of days for which the cottage is available, we want our guests to feel as relaxed as possible and to reduce any risk of passing on the virus between guests. If you have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus or are suffering from any of the symptoms yourselves in the week before your arrival, please do not travel but contact us and we can discuss alternative dates later in the year or the following year.
If a hoist is required, we can put you in touch with a local Shrewsbury company who will deliver equipment the day before your arrival and collect it after you have left. There is a gap of 15cm (6 inches) under the bed(s) so that the hoist fits underneath. If you have any other requirements, please give us a call.

A 25% deposit is required upon booking. For 2022 bookings: Full payment is required four weeks prior to arrival date or in full at the time of booking if the reservation is made less than four weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made by cheque or BACS transfer, details of which will be provided with your confirmation of booking. Cancellations in 2021/2022: should you need to cancel your booking due to falling ill with coronavirus prior to paying the final amount, we will refund your deposit in full.
